White Oak Schoo Gymnasium

Restoration completed in 2015

At his death, Bill Cain bequeathed the Gym to White Oak Baptist church.  Members of the church and community volunteers replaced the roof on the building and began the tedious restoration of it.  With the leadership and guidance of Tracy Dowd, the project has neared completion.  With the installation of heating and air conditioning in summer of 2015, our annual White Oak Reunion was held there.

The facility is available for all types of events by contacting White Oak Baptist.  Location of the church is  13165 NC Hwy 53 W, White Oak, NC 28399.  Mailing address is PO Box 296, White Oak, NC 28399.  A major project will be parking lot improvement.

Financial support for ongoing maintenance of the restored White Oak Gym, to White Oak Baptist church will be a great tribute to time spent at Old White Oak
